To enrol in a distance learning course at UK Professional Development Academy, select a course from College’s course catalogue, and purchase straightway by hitting Add to the Cart button and paying at check Out.
Once we get the information on your course purchase, our admission team will contact you within 48 hours for courses registration and enrolment via email (Excluding weekends).

Fill out the online application form for enrolment. After receiving your application form, the admissions team will contact you and guide you in further steps.
UK Professional Development Academy’s distance learning courses are open to international students from any geographical location. Currently, we have students from more than 65+ countries; therefore, students from different regions of the world can enrol for online courses at UKPDA
Upon successfully passing the course, the learner can claim the Certificate of Completion by paying the certificate fee, from:
- CPD Accredited from UK Professional Development Academy with stamp of Step Ahead CPD Qualification (either in PDF format or Hardcopy)
You can check the certificate fee on our website in the course description under Certificate TAB or at 3rd parties (reed.co.uk or Laimoon)’s websites under the course description section.
A learner can claim a replacement certificate from UKPDA (either in PDF format or Hardcopy) by paying the replacement Certificate fee + postage charges. If you like to get a replacement certificate, please get in touch with our admissions team for further information.
Unlike traditional education, distance learning courses are open throughout the year, and students can enrol anytime for any course. The login credentials and the link to our learning platform will be provided to you within 48 hours after enrolment.
Distance learning courses are provided online; therefore, there are no classes and lecture sessions for these professional development courses.
As for class-based courses, learners need to attend the classes or lectures.

All the courses offered by UKPDA are completely flexible as they provide a self-paced learning process at home or workplaces, and there are no specific deadlines for completing the assessment.
Learners will have access to VLE/Learning Platform up to 12 months from the date of enrolment. During this period, flexibility will be given to learners for completing the course at any time.
After 12 months, access to VLE/Learning Platform will be terminated without prior notice, and for further information/communication, learners can contact via email.
Yes, If you have completed your course more than half, you can apply for a course completion time extension with extra charges of £30 for three months. Please be informed that UK Professional Development Academy reserves the right to grant extensions to the course duration.
It’s a rare case that a student will not pass an assignment as 100% online tutor support is available. Students can re-take their assignments without extra charges for online courses /Qualifications only.
If necessary, the learner will have to attempt the Final Test (online multiple-choice test – 2 attempts) and attempt the test a third time at no extra cost. It applies to quiz based CPD courses only and does not apply to Video-Based CPD training & Class Based Training.
Yes, UK Professional Development Academy Offers CPD Accrediated courses by Step Ahead CPD Qualifications. It means that UKPDA has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organization and the courses it offers meet certain quality criteria.
Accreditation means that UK Professional Development Academy has designed and developed its courses and has gone through an external quality check by Step Ahead CPD Qualifications to ensure that the UKPDA and the courses it offers; meet the high standards of quality criteria.
A CPD Accredited course is a skills-based course checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Accredited courses are not regulated, so they do not result in a Qualification.

No, A CPD Accredited course is for personal and professional development or enhancement of skills, not a qualification. The completion of a CPD Accredited Course alone does not lead to an Ofqual regulated qualification.
No, CPD Course’s Credits are not transferable towards the further regulated qualifications; these Credits are the value of the CPD accredited course for personal and professional development.
Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) is a non-ministerial government department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England.
The Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) is the regulatory qualifications framework for England. Qualifications accepted for use by Ofqual are placed on the Register of Regulated Qualifications only.
Awarding bodies are empowered to make awards or award qualifications. In this case, we are offering different qualifications from 2 awarding bodies:
- Qualfi Ltd
- Step Ahead CPD Qualifications
All awarding bodies are Ofqual regulated. Most of our courses are CPD Accredited by Step Ahead CPD and Ofqual Qualifications are awarded by Qualfi LTD.
CPD is an independent organisation that provides accreditation for CPD courses to ensure continuous professional development. Such CPD organisations do not fall under the national framework.
The course/Training provider is the one who delivers the course or training to the learners through online platforms or classroom-based programmes. In this case, UK Professional Development Academy is the course provider.
CPD Courses– CPD stands for Continuous Professional Development meant for developing or enhancing skills. Individuals or organisations develop CPD courses. For instance, Our CPD courses are designed by us (UK Professional Development Academy) and accredited by independent awarding & accreditation bodies such as The CPD Certification Service, Step Ahead CPD Qualifications. The CPD Accredited certificate of completion will be awarded by UK Professional Development Academy with a stamp/logo of CPD Organisation on it. CPD organisation checks and verifies course quality and assigns the CPD points for each training or course.
Ofqual Qualifications: The Ofqual qualifications are listed on the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF), the UK qualification’s national framework. Ofqual is a non-ministerial government department regulating qualifications, exams and tests in England. In this case, the awarding body develops courses and regulates by Ofqual. The Awarding Body awards the certificate of completion with the regulated framework stamp.
We do not deal directly with any organisation to offer our learners membership. However, You can inquire from the relevant organisation who you seek to get a membership based on CPD Accredited Course. Usually, organisations accept the Ofqual Regulated Qualifications/Certificates for offering membership.
