COURSE OUTLINE
The Qualifi Level 4 Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare has nine units in total. Learners must complete all mandatory units to achieve 34 credits and then choose a minimum of 6 credits from the optional units. A minimum of 40 credits and a minimum of 30 hours of teaching practice are required to achieve the diploma.

REQUIREMENTS
Students seeking to enrol for Qualifi Level 4 Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare should meet the following requirements:

- Possess qualifications at Level 3, Such as, ‘A’ Levels or vocational awards and/or;
- Learners who possess level 4 qualification in another discipline and want to develop their careers in the Early Year Education or Child Care and/or;
- Work experience in an organisational role and shown they have the capability and drive to develop
- The learner must be aged 16 or above
- Good understanding of ICT
- Learners wishing to study and are non-native English speakers must have a minimum level of English language competency*
- Sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment criteria
ASSESSMENT
After studying the course material, the Learner will have to attempt the Final Assignment(s) for each Module. The Assignment Brief containing the different questions will be available on the VLE / Learning Platform. UKPD Academy’s Assessor will assess you. A range of assessment methods may be used. When an assessment criteria is met, it will be graded ‘Pass’. If further evidence is required, it will be graded ‘referred or fail’, and your assessor will give feedback on how you can meet the criteria. You can resubmit an assignment as many times as you need to. All written report(s) / assessments (s) are online and can be taken either during or after the course; they are included in the course price.

ACCREDITATION
Duration
The minimum time to complete this Qualification is 6 Months. Learners will have access to their Qualification via the Learning Platform for up to 12 months from the date of enrolment. During this period, flexibility will be given to learners to complete the course at any time between 6 months to 12 months.
