The ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Business and Management is a 60-credit qualification. To achieve the diploma, learners must complete all 60 credits by completing two mandatory units and two optional units. The qualification has a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 600 hours, including 240 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).

Assessment for the ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Business and Management is based on the achievement of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit. All assessments are completed through the submission of internally assessed assignments. To achieve a Pass, learners must meet all pass-level assessment criteria. A qualified UKPDA assessor assesses each assignment.
Learners are awarded a Pass, Merit, Distinction, or Fail based on the quality of evidence submitted and the extent to which the assessment criteria are met. All pass-level requirements must be achieved before higher grades can be awarded. If further evidence is needed, the assignment may be referred, and learners will receive detailed feedback to support improvement. You can resubmit an assignment as many times as you need to, as reassessment costs are included within the course fee.

ATHE is a global awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual with a recognition number (RN5344), offering internationally recognised qualifications across multiple sectors. It has certified over 100,000 learners globally and supports both academic and career progression through flexible learning pathways from Level 2 to Level 7.
The minimum time to complete this Qualification is 6 Months. Learners will have access to their Qualification via the Learning Platform for up to 12 months from the date of enrolment. During this period, flexibility will be given to learners to complete the course at any time between 6 months and 12 months.
